CompTIA Bulk Voucher Sales

CompTIA is ending the sale of bulk vouchers. This means that the discount vouchers that certification candidates have become accustomed to will no longer be available through sites such as GetCertify4Less.com.

That just seems stupid. So no more discounts?

I think it is unfortunate, but it is all about money. CompTIA claims that they lost more than $1 million dollars in revenue because of discount vouchers.

If you were running CompTIA, you would be faced with a tough choice - not look like a jerk and continue to offer bulk discounts like other certification vendors or increase your revenue by a pretty significant amount.

Corporate members still get discounted vouchers that are around $120 or less. Still not as good as the discounts that were available before. Sad

Any current offers or vouchers that have already been purchased will still be honored. The change that occured refers to CompTIA's selling of highly discounted vouchers to resellers.

What other companies offer discounted vouchers? as mentioned above. I am not aware of any. If you go the the Microsoft site they just direct you to VUE or Prometric. Any reseller like getcertifiedforless is simply getting side deals for large bulk purchases. All COmpTIA did was do aware with their advertised bulk price list. They still have a member/non-member price and I am sure side deals can be worked if the vouchers are in bulk.

getcertified4less is the only one I am aware of.

Yes, there are member/non-member prices, but the discounts aren't nearly as good as the deals previously offered by the above. Smile
