The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium [(ISC)²®], the non-profit international leader in educating and certifying information security professionals worldwide, today announced that Microsoft Corp. has approved (ISC)² certifications as part of its Microsoft Partner Program, Security Solutions Competency.

The CISSP® (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC)² can now be used to satisfy the certification requirements of the Microsoft Certified Partner for its Security Management and Infrastructure Security specializations. The SSCP® (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) from (ISC)² can be used to satisfy certification requirements for the Infrastructure Security specialization.
