RFID+ Boycott

Hello everybody.

I am calling for an immediate boycott of CompTIA's RFID+ due to new knowledge that I have received about the dangers of RFID technology. You see, RFID has one purpose and that is tracking things.... or people.

40 international civil liberties groups have called for a moratorium on the use of RFID until acceptable privacy standards can be put in place. There are quite a few companies that have ignored this request including, CompTIA, Levi Strauss, Tesco (UK), and a few others.

There is a company in existence called VeriChip that is very eager to implant humans with RFID chips. They already proposed to the US government that we implant illegal immigrants so that we can track them. This is the most frightening Orwellian thing I have ever heard of and we need to reject it. Any perceived embracing of this use of technology will lead to all of us being "chipped" and tracked.

Please note that this is not just a U.S. issue. Abuses of RFID are gaining steam all over the world.
