Decrease Indentnnounced that it will retire their i-Net+ certification on December 31st, 2007. There will not be an update, it is a retirement. The certificaton will remain valid for the 20,000+ individuals who have passed the exam and for anyone who achieves it before the deadline.

CompTIA sites a decline in internet only jobs as the reason for the retirement.

I always thought it was a somewhat useless certification. No offense to those who worked to earn it, but I figured it was a bit over specific; and as mentioned, there are other methods to certify knowledge in that stuff....
